Start by drawing a floor plan of your home, and make two ways out of every room. Practice crawling low under smoke to your exit. Then agree on a meeting place safely away from the house so that heads can be counted to make sure that everyone is out safely.

              Quick Fire Safety Tips

If a Fire should occur in your home, Get out and stay out !!! Go to your pre-arranged meeting point.

If your clothing catches on fire, don’t run it will make the flames bigger. Instead drop to the ground, cover your face with your hands and roll until the fire goes out.

Tell the someone on the firefighting team if anyone is still inside. DON'T go back in yourself!
