This permit is issued with the condition that the lowest floor (including the basement floor) of any New or Substantially Improvement Residential Building will be elevated a minimum of four (4) feet above the Base (100 Year) Flood Elevation. If the proposed development is a non-residential building, this permit is issued with the condition that the lowest floor (including the basement floor) will be elevated or floodproofed above the Base (100 Year) Flood Elevation.

All provisions of the City of Waveland Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance Number 325 shall be complied with. This permit is issued with the condition that the developer/property owner will provide certification by a Registered Engineer, Architect or Land Survey that the lowest floor (including the basement floor) “As Built” elevation of any new or substantially improved building covered by this permit that the Floodplain Venting Affidavit is executed. The Nonconversion Agreement is executed and recorded in the Deed of the property with the Clerk of Hancock County.
